CPT August 2007 Results

The result of the Common Proficiency Test held on 26th August 2007 is expected to be declared on Tuesday, the 11th September 2007 around 10 A.M. and the same as well as the merit list (candidates securing a minimum of 60% and above marks and upto the maximum of 10th rank) on all India basis will be available on the following website:

http://www.caresults.nic.in

Arrangements have also been made for the students desirous of having results on their e-mail addresses to pre-register their requests at the above website, i.e., http://www.caresults.nic.in from 7th September 2007. All those registering their requests will be provided their results through e-mail on the e-mail addresses registered as above immediately after the declaration of the result.
Further facilities have been made for students of Common Proficiency Test held on 26th August 2007 desirous of knowing their results with marks on SMS. The service will be available through MTNL, India Times and Reliance.

For getting results through the message students should type:
CACPT(space)XXXXX (Where XXXXX is the five digit Common Proficiency Test Roll number of the candidate)

e.g. CACPT 00028

and send the message to:
52001 - for DOLPHIN AND TRUMP users only
58888 - for all mobile services - India Times

Cancellation of Common Proficiency Test held on 5th August 2007 - Fresh Examination to be held on 26th August 2007

It is notified for general information that due to leakage of question paper, the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held on 5th August 2007 all over India and abroad stands cancelled.
The said Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will now be held afresh on Sunday, the 26th August 2007 at all Centres in India and also at Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu abroad where the Test was held on 5th August 2007. The said Test will be held in two sessions i.e. Morning Session from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. (IST) and Afternoon Session from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. (IST).
The said Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will be held for all the candidates who were earlier admitted to the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held on 5th August 2007 irrespective of whether they were present or absent in the said Test held on 5th August 2007. All the students, who were issued Admit Cards for the CPT exam held on 5th August 2007, will be issued fresh Admit Cards for the exam to be held on 26th August 2007 without any further payment of fee. These admit cards would be despatched by 11th August 2007. Students, who do not receive the admit cards by 16th August 2007 may contact at the Examination Helpline at 0120-3054851-53 or can send e-mail at mailto:cpt_exam@icai.org
